  • BECKETT: I'm not here for room service, I'm here for justice.
CASTLE: Wow, in LA for all of a minute and already she's spouting cheesy movie dialogue. Must be something in the air.
  • CASTLE: Would Montgomery really fire you?
    BECKETT: Yep.
CASTLE: So we're going back to New York?
    BECKETT: Hell no.
  • CASTLE: What, did you pack a murder board?
  • CASTLE: This is so weird.
    BECKETT: What?
CASTLE: I've dressed up as him for Halloween.
    BECKETT: Mm, I did too.
  • BECKETT: That is just creepy.
    CASTLE: Totally.
  • ESPOSITO: S'up girl, how's the weather in your world?
    BECKETT: Sunny, chance of ass-kicking.
  • CASTLE: You know what I thought when I first met you?
    BECKETT: Hm?
CASTLE: That you were a mystery I was never going to solve. Even now, after spending all this time with you, I'm still amazed at the depth of your strength and your heart...and your hotness.
BECKETT: You're not so bad yourself, Castle.
  • CASTLE: Don't poke me.
BECKETT: Poke you? I want to kiss you.
  • MONTGOMERY: You know, I'm trying to decide who is the worst liar. Him or you.
  • ESPOSITO: (answering MANNIS' phone) Yo.
    BECKETT: Esposito?!
    ESPOSITO: Beckett?
Go here to discuss the spec
  • Apparently both Beckett and Castle dressed up as Gene Simmons for Halloween.
  • Ganz spelled his alter ego's name Neel, but De Niro's character in Heat is spelled Neil, which is the standard spelling. Maybe he was trying to make the connection less obvious, or maybe he just can't spell.
  • When Castle and Beckett are leaving the sound stage from the fake interrogation of Reggie Walsh, Beckett takes off her jacket and unbuttons the top button, but in the next shot (a wider shot), her top button is closed again.
